Pura Luhur Lempuyang

Pura Supreme! Dedicated to the supreme God, Sang Hyang Widi Wasa, it’s one of Bali’s nine directional temples that protect from evil spirits. Visiting it requires a bit of an effort. You’ll need to climb 1,700 steps cutting right into the mountainside jungle to reach the top. At the peak however,  you are treated to also a grand view of Gunung Agun framed by the temple. Breathless!
