Jimbaran fish market

Definitely a 5 senses experience!!! Stroll through the local fish market and take your pick! This market is bursting with fish, lobsters, jumbo prawns, calamari, clams and so much more at local prices…really local prices!!! 20$ for a kilo of lobster…! You can imagine the rest!!! Once you’ve done your shopping, come out of the market and walk along the beach until you find the “BBQ man”. He will clean, cut, season and cook (on a typical coconut barbecue) all your sea delights and serve them with rice and local relishes.  And again, for just a few $.

Sit under the alang alang huts and enjoy the food and the view…colorful fishing boats on a beautiful white sand beach.  Don’t worry, the smell can be a little strong in the market but the products are fresh that day and always kept on ice..
